Holy Trinity Upper Tooting

The church with the open doors

Worship

Holy Trinity seeks to be inclusive of all, to foster unity, deepen faith and encourage both personal and corporate worship. Our worship at Holy Trinity is centred on the Communion service, in which we encounter Christ in the bread and wine that we share, in scripture, and in the fellowship we are part of with Christians throughout the world.

Sunday Services

 8.00am

Holy Communion (BCP - traditional language): this service is currently suspended, but we hope to restart it soon.  A quiet and reflective service, held in the Chapel.

 10.00am

Parish Communion: a sung service, usually with a robed choir.

First Sunday of the month:  enquiries about baptisms are welcome, held in the 10am service or separately.
Fourth Sunday of the month: prayer for healing is offered during the service.

Seasonal Services

We have a number of seasonal services to mark the feasts of the Christian year, from our Easter Day dawn service (followed by breakfast!), to a traditional candle-lit carol service and a children’s crib service at Christmas.  See the monthly diary and news items for details.

Children & Youth

Children are always welcome at our Sunday services - younger children will find a range of quiet toys and books on the carpet. There are a number of ways for older children and young people to take an active part in services; in the choir; as altar servers to assist in services; and as readers for the lessons in Sunday services.

Faith and Life Events

Holy Trinity is always pleased to welcome those wishing to baptise their children.  Confirmation services, to renew vows made at baptism, are held annually and preparation classes take place every year.  Holy Trinity is also of course available for weddings and funerals.
Please do contact us if you would like to know more.
We are very fortunate to have the church halls adjoining the church with their own kitchen which makes post service events and receptions very easy to arrange. If you are interested in booking the hall please click here
