Informal Worship
Every third Sunday of the month, we enjoy a shorter more informal service, designed for all ages. At this engaging and participatory service, all are welcome and families are particularly encouraged to attend. Just to give you an idea of what happens, in previous informal worship services we have signed petitions, posted prayers on a prayer wall, and donated toys for local disadvantaged families. There are rugs and toys at the back of church where parents can take restless little ones. The service is approximately 45 minutes long and is followed, as usual by refreshments in the hall.
Most of these informal services follow a theme, such as "New Life" and "Reaping a Harvest". There are also specialInformal Worship services on Good Friday, Easter Day and Christmas Eve.
