Junior Church
Junior Church meets most Sundays, apart from the third Sunday in the month when we have a Worship for All service which does not include communion and is a bit shorter as a result. Junior church is a fun time of learning and activity for children aged 4-10. Teaching is integrated with the readings in church, and a story and discussion is always followed by craft and activity. The children rejoin us in time for Holy Communion.
In the past children could only start receiving Holy Communion once they had been Confirmed. Holy Trinity now welcomes children to receive Holy Communion from the age of 7 and following participation in a short course of instruction and preparation, which is normally held alongside Junior Church. When ready, childrenprepared in this way will then be formally welcomed to Holy Communion.
