There's a lot going on at Holy Trinity. This page gives an overview of our social activities. Many of our activities are about deepening faith, activities for children and young people, whilst others are about fun and friendship whilst supporting good causes (see below), or strengthening the church.
Read our newsletter with information about events of the season.
We have a rich calendar of social events from informal lunches to an annual barndance, softball on the common and a quiz night. We are always looking for new ideas and new helpers to turn these ideas into reality. Click here to see what’s coming up.
Revues and Plays
Holy Trinity has a strong theatrical and choral tradition and we have produced plays and musicals ranging from serious drama to pantomime and musicals. Revues are a regular feature of life, where participation and humour matter more than expertise. All are welcome to display their talents. If you're interested in staging a theatrical performance please contact us – there’s plenty of expertise and enthusiasm in the congregation.
Once a month some of us meet socially in a local pub. It's completely informal and everyone is welcome. The first people arrive for around 8 o’clock and people come and go throughout the evening. We chat and laugh about almost anything, and it's a good chance to get to know people. For our next Pub Night details please click here.
On Friday evenings our Badminton group play in the large hall from 8.30 to 10pm. All are welcome.
