Regular events

Exploring Prayer
Meets monthly on Wednesday evenings, in the Chapel, for an hour of quiet prayer from 8.00pm to 9.00pm.  The main part of the evening is a time of meditative prayer, lead on a theme or Bible passage, and ending with shared intercessory prayer.
Exploring Scripture
A Bible Study group meeting monthly on Wednesday evenings, from 8.00pm to 9.30pm in the Taylor Hall.  Our emphasis is on looking at the history, context and authorship of the passages we are studying, to better understand their relevance in our own lives.
Pub Tuesdays
Every other month some of us meet socially in a local pub, between 8.00pm and 10.00pm. It's completely informal - people come and go throughout the evening and everyone is welcome. We chat about almost anything, and it's a good chance to get to know people.
Social Lunches
In the alternate months to Pub Tuesday, we get together for lunch at a local pub or restaurant instead, usually meeting at 12.30pm on a Tuesday. It's another chance to enjoy each other's company, and get to know people better.
Badminton
On Friday evenings our Badminton group play in the large hall from 8.00pm to 10.00pm.  All are welcome  - we're a mixed ability group and racquets are provided, but please come with suitable footwear.

Other events

We also have a calendar of seasonal and occasional events, spiritual, social and practical.  These range from seasonal worship to parish lunches, from a barn dance to Lent discussion groups,  from a quiz night to a working day (cleaning, painting and odd jobs).  All are welcome at any of our activities.
This programme includes fundraising events for the charities we support.  See more about our charity and community engagement here
