The church with the open doors
Each year we prepare a number for people for confirmation, to renew the vows that were made on their behalf at baptism by their parents and godparents and the wider congregation.
Before confirmation there is a preparation course that takes up to eight weeks, with one hour meetings once a week usually on a Saturday, to instruct in the faith and to answer whatever questions and thoughts may arise. If you are considering confirmation or would just like to take the course to learn more, or refresh your memory of Christianity please do contact us. There is no commitment required to join the course, and it is perfectly possible to participate and then decide that you are not yet ready to be confirmed. Courses are usually held in two groups - one for young people between the ages of 13-16 and one for adults.
