Holy Trinity is a community. You are welcome to join us and take part in the many areas of church life on offer. These include what we do as a church and our service to the local area.
We would love to meet you at any of our services or greet you over coffee after the 10.00 service on Sundays.
We offer a warm welcome to our many activities. These include those that develop faith, such as study courses and discussion groups, as well as our regular social events, which include parish lunches, a revue evening of songs and skits, a barn dance, and quiz night. Help is always needed at our fundraising events and for the upkeep of the church, including twice yearly decorating weekends and looking after the church garden.
There are many opportunities to help at services, for example being a server and in the running of the church.
Holy Trinity believes strongly in looking outward and serving the community.
We put a lot of effort into meeting others' needs, especially the poor and marginalised, through our support for charities, locally, nationally, and internationally. As well as fundraising, this includes forging relationships with those we support, for example the Emmaus Trust centre for the homeless in West Norwood.
Holy Trinity members play an active part in the Balham and Tooting Community Association (BATCA), which builds bridges between the different faiths and ethnic groups in our area.
Holy Trinity is an active member of Churches Together in Balham and Tooting (CTBUT), which draws local churches together for joint witness and service. Churches Together put on a number of events including the Good Friday Walk of Witness which attracts several hundred people.
